Biogluc
Bumblebee feeding: sugar
Bumblebees require pollen as a protein source for the build-up of the colony.
They also need nectar as a carbohydrate (sugar) source. Since the flowers of certain plants (e.g. tomatoes) do not produce sufficient or any nectar, the colony needs to be provided with a sugar solution.
BIOGLUC is a ready-to-use sugar solution in a bottle of 1.4l (2.1 kg), sufficient for the entire activity span of a colony.
In exceptional cases, such as hives which develop extreme large colonies or longer activity span, the bottle can run empty earlier than expected and need be replaced by a new one.
